What to bring to the Youth Sail Camp...
Bring the following to class with you in a backpack or bag...
-- A snack, a big lunch and beverages to keep you hydrated. Students will be VERY active in and on the water. We plan to tire out your kids in class. Please pack plenty for them to refuel at snack and lunch time. -- A water bottle, preferably with a leash of clip of some kind to secure it in the boat with you. -- Towel, a warm layer, two changes of clothes. --Closed toe shoes that you can get soaking wet. No sandals or flip-flops. Closed toed shoes are essential to keep your toes safe. Bare feet will find the fish hooks, broken glass, splinters and other unfortunate hazards often found at lakeside locations. Crocs work well. --Sunglasses with a keeper/strap of some kind. --Sunscreen!!!! Don't miss class because you got sunburned. We will be in the sun ALL DAY. Long sleeves and pants are a great idea if you are fair skinned. |
